I have been in the music business as a professional Saxophone and Clarinet player for over 40 years and played all over the world in many different settings from intimate garden parties to international corporate events. In this time I have noticed a great lack of live music at a time when comfort, joy and hope are needed in times of struggle and loss. Not always in a funeral setting but maybe at the wake later or at another more private time to reflect on the lives of those that have passed on. Live music brings the flexibility, passion and emotions that a musician passes through their music to those that are listening.
Whatever your thoughts and music tastes, let me know.
Its always a difficult time to talk about these things but I'm hear to listen and to make this journey special.
